Hello from the farm,
Thereâs a crispness in the air (and weâre not just talking about the lettuce). As the seasons shift, we find ourselves celebrating, reflecting, and looking ahead with full hearts. This weekâs email is all about peopleâthe ones who grow here, the ones who guide the way, and the ones like you who make it all possible.
Letâs dive in đ±

New This Week:

đ Celebrating 18 Stories of Growth This Summer
This summer, we had the privilege of working alongside 18 incredible individuals in our employment programâeach one bringing their own personality, skills, and spark to the farm.
From greenhouse watering to soap labeling, veggie washing to field prep, these individuals have done more than just help grow foodâtheyâve grown confidence, connections, and community.
Weâre looking forward to welcoming even more new faces this fall through upcoming classroom visits and our Open House. Every visit is an opportunity to spark new conversations and explore new possibilities about what individuals with intellectual and cognitive disabilities can achieveâwith the right support and space.

đ Farewell, JuliaâYouâve Left Your Mark
This week, we say goodbye (with love) to Julia, our amazing Lead Peer Mentor and Apothecary Manager.
Julia joined us on day oneâliterally. Sheâs helped build the Field & Wick apothecary program from scratch, coached our mission employees with patience and compassion, and added heart to every product and moment along the way.
Now sheâs off to pursue her dream of becoming a special education teacher, and we couldnât be more proud.
New Growth Project wonât be the same without herâbut we know the classroom is gaining someone truly extraordinary.
Julia, we love you. And weâll miss you more than words (or candles) can say. đ
